The objective is to have one centre in the USA and one in Europe and to mix members from both continents at each, as well as having swap programmes. We may later add further centres, but no centre will become very large. The atmosphere will therefore in each centre be like a small commune or large family. We need a large enough number to allow acting variation, with a range of partners, but a small enough number that the group bonds as a single team. Each centre will therefore probably have around 10 screen actors, so we will have 10 to start, moving to 20 in development later.
Their will this time be a entry fee to the Rising Stars, where before it was all completely free. We will use this to rent or buy and improve the property to make it more suitable for the use and to provide equipment and cover our running costs, both of the property and in providing training, visits etc. We have been playing with a fee of £6,000 per person, and although no college could run a course and accommodation, plus covering most bills within a £60,000 budget for 10 people for a year, we are able to, due to working closely with others. Those attending will still as a group need to cover food, drink and telephone costs, between them, as well as traveling cost to the center and any time away they choose to have.
They will do no work for us, our reward will be mostly from the 25% of profit from the agency when they become stars.
